1. Be patient!

4. Take advantage of your position on the table!
If you’re the first or second in the betting round, K10 is not a good hand. There are nine players after you and if any of them has AA, KK, or KQ, what you can see is a serious risk. 5. Change your playing style!

Does it feel that you have to wait for them until they have a good hand? Folded up in the bet? Is there a maniac who bets on all hands? Answering a few of these questions will help you choose the best gaming style.

8. Concentrate on the game!
If you want to know how to beat your opponents, you need to concentrate on what they do. Don’t start to write e-mails or surf the Internet while playing, and of course turn off the TV!

9. Do not hesitate!
If you have doubts before making a move, it can be interpreted by your adversaries as a sign of weakness. In online poker tournaments you might not see the reaction of your opponent or neither do they see if you’re nervous or not. One of the few tracks you have is the speed at which your opponent makes its moves. The worst sin you can commit is doubt for a while and then move on, that way you send the signal to the table that you’d rather wait for a better card, and most likely, someone will place a bet to get you out of your hand.

10. Do not pursue projects!
It can be very tempting when you see we have a project of stairs (for example if you have a 6 and 7 and exits 5 and 8 in the flop) but the reality is that a hand like that is rarely successful. If you can see the turn and the river for free or a few chips can tempt you to be interested in that hand, but remember that at this point you do not have anything and your adversaries can have at least a pair.

11. Remember that your opponents play different cards!
The fact that you’re doing the right thing it doesn’t mean that others are doing less well. People play all kinds of hands, especially when it comes to playing online poker freerolls, so you can expect all sorts of bad beats. Particular attention should be paid to the possibility of stairs, for example if there is 5-6-8 at the table there is a great possibility that someone has a 7 and a 4.

12. Take the freerolls seriously!
